Jen, it would be a nice idea to add the Amber Alert ticker to all the websites. Its free and may help save a child. Go here to get Amber Alert ticker http://codeamber.org/ticker_code.html

I'd rather not have it. All the java running tended to make my time on the other AK site slow and prone to crashing. The less **** jumping around, ticking, and running on the screen, the more content there is.

I also am of the opinion that "less is better". I can understand if I am driving a car and a sign alerts me to a '79 Chevy Caprice that might have been involved with an abduction. I COULD make a difference.
With me sitting in my basement surfing the internet at 0334hrs the Amber Alert is nothing but annoying and slows down my system.

Good intentions, but impractical and buggy. Intended for homepages, not professional websites.
