My professional hunter had a safe full of R5's when I was over in Namibia. He said he could get me one for $425US. I must tell you that my mind was racing on how I could get a couple home.
Funny thing is when I hit Atlanta, GA US customs, I was standing in line with several other hunters coming back from Africa. It was so busy that a custom's agent came by and asked to see my paperwork for bringing my guns back into the country, glanced at it and signed it without opening my guncase. I could have brought a couple back! :(
Oh well, better safe then sorry.

SWEET MOTHER OF PEARL!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not a big fan of 5.56mm weapons, but I think I'd make an exception here!

Idsubgun, the parts alone would be worth that. Hmmm.... I was in central america a few years back and got to handle a SAR, (same as R5) very sweet.
