Here's an identical AKS-74U "Krinkov" in active service, unregistered and being used by the United States government in the hands of foreign nationals in the global war on terrorism.

There is a difference in the guns on the first post though that makes one of them not identical to the Krinkov news picture though. The AK74SU's are REALLY short and have about a 8-9 inch barrel, shortened handguards and gastube and a rear site positioned over the back of the topcover with a hinge on it to oversimplify it. The AK 102/104/105's are AK's with the full legnth handguard, gas tube, regular rear sight, and they have a 12.5 inch barrel instead of the 16 inch barrel of a regular AK. Still a good picture to show of the Krinkov though.

What's in the back pack??!?
