Looking for audio/video...

Hi--I'm the sound designer for a multimedia project where I need to create sounds for a large number of weapons, munitions and military vehicles currently in use in Iraq. M2, M4, SVD, PK, etc.

Can anyone point me to where I might be able to find a large amount of information? Ideally, video clips with sound, or at least sound files. I'm a newbie and need to educate myself.

but it's silent. I didn't know until I tried it. Anyway, if you need a slow-motion AK firing sequence, this is pretty good. Sorry, but I don't know of a sound-bite.

I suppose you've already hit all the .wav file sites? (try searching under free .wav files, free machinegun .wav, etc. Not always the highest quality but free is free)

Tons of stuff out there, I use 'em for backgrounds on e-mails. Most are short files but every now and again you'll hit a good one.
