receiver w/ Centarms Canada ,and CAI St Albans Vt. on receiver.,,no bayo lug no FH a Choate tool buthole stock, and plastic forearm and gas block cover. Shoots an honest 3 inches at 100 yds with the irons. paid $300,,did I get took? Les anyone know what I have?? (I don't)

You took somebody, I think. Unless it's a dog, a milled MAK-90 would probably go for $350-$400. I'd get rid of the Choate stock even if I went back to a Norinco thumbhole--they're good stocks if you take a rasp and some sandpaper to them. Sounds reasonable for accuracy, too. MAK-90s are not noted for accuracy.

It's obviously a post ban, what can I legaly install on the rifle? Pistol grip if U.S.made? thanks,,,Les

I believe you can put a pistol grip on it, but the buttstock will have to be custom-made for the milled MAK-90; the rear of the receiver is angle-cut (like underfolders) and the hole is round, not a rounded rectangle like the European milled receivers.
There has been some question if the MAK-90 is not defined as a semiautomatic assault weapon (SAW); if so, you could put all the SAW attachments on is, since it is already evil. This opinion has not been presented to BATFE as far as I know, and I wouldn't take a chance on it without their OK (then keep a copy of the letter with the rifle). If you do ask BATFE (Technical Branch), post the result here if you will. It would be of interest to many people.
