If I witness myself violating any firearms laws, can I hold myself at gunpoint until assistance arrives?

As a self-arrested criminal, am I permitted to make an escape attempt? (I could wait till I go to sleep, then senak out.) Can I use deadly force in an escape attempt? Can I as the arresting citizen use deadly force to keep myself (the arrested criminal) from escaping?

Most important, can I use citizen's arrest powers to arrest public officials who have violated their oath to uphold the Constitution?
