I have a SAM-7 with a factory pinned on muzzel brake(Post Ban Configuration). I have noticed that the front sight post is drilled for a retaining pin. First, is it legal to remove the factory brake and replace it with an American made copy of an original style muzzle attachment? Second, how was this factory brake installed, pushed on the barrel and pinned(two pins on bottom of brake)? Does the barrel retain it's 14x1 L.H. threads underneath all that political correctness? Please advise but, legal answers only, no shoulda woulda coulda's.
