I just purchased a Bulgie stock set for my SAR-1 from K-VAR and I am having trouble getting the lower hanguard to fit. I pulled the old wooden one off and put the plastic one on but it is pretty loose where it fits in the receiver. Also, the little lever that locks it into place is loose as it no longer has the spring pressure bearing against it. Is all of this normal or are these furniture sets really not meant for AK47 rifles? Thanks, Monte.
