A few things , first let me say greetings to all as IAM new to this forum . I got a MISR ( Maadi) 7.62X39 put a few hundred rounds through it and yup you got it IAM hooked .

So I sent it to Global to get it parkerized.Well they got it for a few days later and requested funds ( which where promptly sent ) . My question is does this take a while ? They have had it over a month......Are they a good trust worthy outfit? If so guess I got to get another AK so I do not miss out on nice days of sunshine and cordite......Thanks to any and all how answer this post...

They are trust worthy. They have been around awhile and have many customers. Some people have their complaints on service, etc. But you are safe.

I have a SSR-85C from them, great gun. It is parkerized and I want to send it off for painting :D Then again, I'm trying to copy a soviet gun and the appropiate finish.

Just got it back today fully parked with the new slant brake installed.........Dam nice work..........Thanks for the words guys.........Now IAM gonna study these boards and learn how to do my first build . Looking at Globals 1.6mm stamped receiver for a starting point........

Understand that with the 1.6mm sheet receiver you are going to have to take 1.2mm off your trunions. They are made to fit the 1mm receivers, and Global Trades elected to make their receiver thicker while holding the outer dimension to standard.

Packrat you are thanked.....I listen . My thought was that it was closer to a milled receiver hence more durable.............I will file this info in my build notes
