No email address, no 1-800, can't get them via their Texas number. I've lain in bed and tried telepathy.....he he, WTH

I just called them and talked to Mr Z. (the Bulgarian) HE says they had a flood in Houton yesterday, so I am guessing that could have hampered phone access.

Jim Boyd
Actually we had 2 floods in less than a week :uhoh_smal

I've been ther six times this year and they have changed the whole operation. When they moved into the new "digs" a few months ago, they had standing water in the new warehouse where the inventory of product had just been stored.

Bad year for Jimmy and Zlatan!

Try them next week.

akidaho
Thanx much, I'll be patient!

WolfsburgBob
I have been very patient with my friends at Global too.

It is worth the effort.

They are good people and it has been a tough year for them. This firearms related business is not what most people think.

Sometimes it gets a bit "chewy".

If you make the seventh trip this year Bob, and do not ring me up for a BS session and a pint hoisting contest, we may have a problem,

Wow, this thread is a year old.

What is this about Global Trades Armory USA AIRSOFT rifles?

recon-1
Got this from another site. Dated 10-14-07

Armory USA is now under new ownership.

Negotiations were made between the owners of Armory USA and Hector Bennett, owner of Elk River Tool & Die, to purchase all of Armory USA's tooling, equipment and stock on hand. For those of you who do not know, Mr. Bennett is nationally known for his high quality AK builds.

HOWEVER - although Armory USA is now known as Elk River Tool & Die, the company will NOT be moving from Houston Texas.

Furthermore, Elk River has kept all of Armory's highly skilled and trained gunsmiths and personnel. Under the Elk River name, we will continue to provide parts and receivers, and some of the best built and finished AK rifles available on the American market. We are also accepting orders for customer custom builds.

The name has changed, but our customers should expect no disruption in shipments of parts, receivers or rifles.

Thanks for the update recon-1. Bob, what is the deal, did you not know.

WolfsburgBob
Bob, what is the deal, did you not know.

There was, and is, a lot more to it than has posted here. The internal reorganization and streamlining efforts at Global Trades/Armory USA should yield far better results from the public's point of view.

Global Trades and Armory USA are separate entities now.

The manufacturing of receivers now done under the new ownership of Mr. Bennet of Elk River Tool and Die and the skilled people at that operation should return the "made-just-like-the-real-deal-with-the real-material" AK receivers to the position of the true industry standard that they once held.

I knew then, and I know now.

I also know it is NOT my business to repeat half-correct information.

Other will do enough of that.

Global Trades and Armory USA are no longer in business.

As Bob has said, Elk River bought all their assets.

KernelKrink
So how/who do we contact now for parts and receivers? Links anyone?

Big M!...How the HELL are ya doing my OLD and GOOD friend?

It's SO GOOD to see you! Is it typically HOT down there,..or just WET?

Anyhoo,...I hope I did not mislead anyone with my post. Actually Global Trades is now to be owned by one fellow and operate separately from the others, Armory USA will be owned by another fellow and be separate, and a third fellow operating as ERT&D Inc. has purchased the receiver maufacturing equipment and process and will be operating that venture separately from the other two.

Three, three,...THREE MINTS (corporations) that used to be parts of ONE!
