Not certain if this is the right spot for this. Does anyone have any experience with a laser boresighter? Good brand? Chamber style vs. muzzle-arbor mounts? I know Bushnell, makes one as does guide gear, and site-lite. Prices seem to range from $20 - $ 200.00.
Thanks

I got the cheapest one I could find, ($35) ya just stick it in the end of the barrel (not in the chamber as with other "better" ones)
Its purpose is to get you CLOSE to your target, and then you adjust your scope the old fashioned way to get it dead nuts.
Worked VERRY WELL, I actualy used it to custom mount iron sights on a barrel that had none, I looked at it and looked at it , LOOKED WAY CROOKED. So I put the iron sights on in what looked a TOTALY WRONG position. Shot like a dream, from first shot to present.
Buy the cheap one, spend you $$ on something else.

I was under the impression that the style that sits in the end of the bore were better due to varriations in chamber sizes/fit with the other style. And yea, they work great for set up work and I'd recommend getting one...prices really aren't that bad.
