Excuse my ignorance, but, bayonet on WASR?

Hey I have a WASR-10 and I was wondering, is there any possible way I can put a bayonet on the thing? If so how? I really don't know a whole lot about guns, this is my first, actually, so keep your technical terms to a minimum.

Well, you can't have a bayonet lug on a post ban... I don't think the law addresses the bayonet itself. You might wanna check if you wish to got that route.

Early east german bayonets didn't use a bayonet lug.. and fit some post ban rifles.

bayo lugs are a "evil" feature and such have been ground down so a bayonet can't be attached to it. however, if the AW ban dies, and goes away you can replace the gas block with another that has the bayo lug.......but it will be a bitch to take the existing one off.
