question about an Arsenal Rifle I bought

i recently purchased an arsenal classic underfolder (no ban style). i noticed that there was a tiny bit of play in the gas tube (the wodden area directly above the front handguard, where the release lever is located.

is it natural for that piece not to be 100% rigid? it just moves a little bit from side to side, and i just want to know if this is normal or expected. the rifle has never been fired. thank you for any input you can provide.

A little bit of side to side play within the upper handguard/gas tube is perfectly normal. If the upper handguard is moving on the gas tube or if you feel that the upper handguard/gas tube assembly is moving in excess please give us a call at 888-539-2220.
