Without opening the tin, does anyone know what this is/ know any websites that help ID ammo tins? I can't find any.
Here's a pic:

it's 660 round of 7.62x39, the writing says PATRON OZHOTNICHI...which roughly translates to cartridge hunting/hunter's .......in other words it's just regular commercial 7.62x39 ammo just packed in a military tin.......nothing special

Do you know if its FMJ/HP.. anything else about the ammo? Never heard of that brand.. is it good/brass cased/steel cased.. anything?
BTW, thanks for the ID help thus far. I've been searching all day and haven't found that much. Some guy on the ak47.net forums says that its "red x". Didn't elaborate other than that, though.

it's not a brand name, it's what they use to label 7.62x39 ammo quite a few years ago, to make it sound more "sporting".......they also labeled the boxes "made to hunting spec". it's going to be steel cased, it will either be TULA (TCW (tula cartridge works) commerical production ammo in white boxes , that was before they started using the trademark name WOLF, or it will be ULY commercial ammo, that came in blue and white boxes. as for hollow point to FMJ, bust one open and see........it's not collectable, it's just run of the mill commercial ammo. it's good stuff and shoots good.
as for the 'red x" comment........it means that he couldn't see the picture. MSE shows a red X when a image can't be seen

My bad. Since I'm not at home and I can't access my personal webspace, I put it on my myspace, which you CAN hotlink to.
I'd like to keep the cans sealed if it all possible... Which is why I'd kinda like to not bust one open but ID it as much as possible without opening them. Thanks again for your help so far, 16r40.
