I'm happy that my two new favorite forums, this one and www.gunco.net (http://www.gunco.net) allow me to upload my own private avatar.

For those of you having some trouble: whatever small pictures you can store in the proper format as your pictures in Windows will work for avatars, although there may be a size limit.
Mine started out as a larger picture that I extensively modified in Windows "Paint" before uploading so I wouldn't violate anybody's copyright.
