Hello all!
I'm sure some of you know me from GN and just to set something straight. I am banned from gunsnet and in no way do I affiliate myself with them.
Tonight I was accused of stealing content or so I have heard.
My account over there (Twisted Cross) is marked user in trouble or something like that.
Whatever!
Just thought I would say hi and thanks to all those that have sent me e-mails and support.
Nice site you all have here too! I've lurked here in the past as well.

I recognize your nick. You were a member there for quite a long time. I was one of the original members from 98-99, I think I was about the the 758th member. I finally got banned in the middle of 2003. I loved the site when it owned by chris is colorado, but once he sold it to Mick and david, everything went to shit.

Yeah, I remember you too. I never had a problem with you. I guess Dave did though?
Yup, I had over 7000 posts and was there since Nov of 2001. I never did get into the politics until I was dragged into it when I opened my mouth over the KVAR thing and then it seemed to hang over me like a black cloud.

One of the final insults I had to endure from the Goonsnet is that we, the contributors, are basically expendable.
Not to stroke my own ego, but I think ALL of us with a history on these boards have our loyal following. Hell, I remember SangRunHunter!
I'm a loyal follower of SSR99 (aka Original-SSR on Goonsnet), USMC03, mack8384, mbakercad, pmbiker, (and I don't mean to leave anybody out so don't be offended--it's just too long to name them all).
Goonsnet is doomed because they forget ONE very important thing. If, as Mr. Head Cheese at Goonsnet is so fond of reminding us, Goonsnet is a "business" and not a forum for the first amendment, then he forgets that the most important asset of any business is its customers.
Whether we are expendable or not, we could be watching TV instead of logging on to these boards. Does any of Goonsnet's advertisers have any nationwide TV ads? I think not.
So, let's let the funny little psycho run his "business" into the ground. Meanwhile, we "expendable" members are having plenty of fun logging on to this board and www.gunco.net (http://www.gunco.net) where we don't get to see Goonsnet's advertisers (AW, shucks).

Yeah, I had that white Jindo dog mix and a black lab mix. I used to use the Jindo as my avatar. She always did get me a lot of comments about her stoned look she had as someone put it.
Unfortunately we had both of them put to sleep in August. They both were having trouble with our 9 month baby at the time. When the docile one tried to rip the baby's face off that was it as much as I loved them both. They both had health problems and we were told they were not adoptable by our vet and a rescue group because they like to fight with any dog they saw.

I might need protective custody soon! I'm starting to get some weird e-mails and someone was calling my house and hanging up lastnight.
Amazing how childish some people can be.

I too, have worn out my welcome at gunsnot.
I was Silver Dollar over there, before I ran afoul of the powers that be.
Nice to see all the familiar faces here.

fear not! sangrun!
we have all been hard at work identifying the trolls.
the one gunco troll turned out to be a 50+ year-old man...sad to say it, but an ex-aquaintance of mine. heck, in 1999 i even purchased a rifle from his business!
it is, indeed, sad that these supposedly grown men carry-on like 3rd graders.
i will not drag interboard crap over here, but if it continues, sangrun, just let me know and we will handle it from ar15/ak side of things.
you know, it's amazing. 98% of all the firearms boards get along quite nicely and encourage cross-posting and meeting users at each others' events (fal'rs at bulletfest...ar15 users at the tusco fal shoot, etc.), but there always has to be one in every crowd that cannot live and let live.
enjoy posting here! the falfiles has been one of the highest quality and longest serving gunboards on the web!
