The spam can for FMJ 640rds at SPG for members is listed at 85.00$. If you use the 15$ coupon for items over 150.00$, you can get 1280 rds for 155$ before shipping. That looks decent to me, although it is probably on backorder, I'm not sure.

How about, "Who Has It In Stock???" Unlike 99% of gunowners, I am not a cheap POS that shoots POS ammo in my guns, simply because "it's cheep". I pay for quality, but am having a hard time just finding it in stock. Now THAT's a problem.

Well, that is cheap. But there site is a little sparse right now, so I wonder if it's in stock. I guess I'll have to wait until Tuesday.

At this rate I'll have to sell a gun to be able to afford 7.62X39 ammo :( Good thing I bought 15,000 rounds of .22 ammo :)

What did that 15k of .22 ammo run you... about 150 bucks?

I think the whole she-bang (it's not all the same manufacture) was $135 if I remember correctly

They are AK's, get over it. I don't shoot the cheapest ammo in my other rifles but they don't go through it as fast either. The AK was designed to be cheap and reliable, not good looking, accurate or state-of-art design (unless it is 1947). I shoot my AKs because they are fun to shoot, and my AK pistol is a blast.

my local gunshop has Wolf Military Classic 124 gr. HP in 7.62x39 for $161.95 plus tax per 1000.

He had (10) cases that he just got in.

So the ammo supplies are coming back in. Wonder if price will go down since supply is back, or they'll keep it up because they don't want to lower it once they had a reason to hike it.

If everybody would quit paying these high prices and let the supply accumulate they would start coming back down. Demand exceeds supply, prices go up!!
Supply exceeds demand, prices go down!! Something to think about lads.....

Yep. I'm not buying any for awhile. Well, I'll buy from my local gunshop, since he has brown bear at 3.25 a box (which is what I used to pay before ammo got short), so it doesn't seem like too bad a price.

That, and that crapload of ammo I just got. I think I'm stocked for awhile as long as I don't go outside and blow it all.
