Maybe I'm missing something here, but how do you get the trigguard and rear trunion screwed on and tight? Do you put nuts on the ends of the screws? The front trunion makes sense but not the others???? Geezs, just when I was getting that headspacing thing right on my FAL's, now this???? :-)
Thanks for the info,
Mike :p

Not sure about the trunion screws, but I did screw my trigger guard on when I converted my SA-2000M to take 30-rounders and needed to remove the trigger guard spacer. I used fine-thread allen head screws that had a black finish, along with washers and nuts. The only thing was that I needed to dremel down the nut and the screw protruding thru on, I believe, two of the screws since they would interfere with the hammer and spring. Not as clean looking as rivets when you pop the top cover off, but they haven't loosened up on me after a few hundred rounds.

You can make a plate out of 1/16th (more or less)plate with the same hole spacing as the triggerguard.Thread the holes in the plate and you dont have to use nuts and washers, just some red locktite. Takes up a lot less space.
