S A RPK-7

I have been into fals for some time and now AKs have my attention. I traded one of my nicer Fals for an unfired Arsenal S A RPK-7 # HB 01 0002. How do you read the serial number. Is it the first one produced? The 2nd one produced or the 10002 produced. The instruction manuel says Sept. 23, 2003. Is the BBl nut welded on or blind pinned. Thanks in advance Jess AKA Red Dog 1

Congradulations, your serial number indicates that it is the second one produced. The barrel nut is welded and blind pinned.

Wow! where did pick that up at Red Dog?

I got it from a dealer At the Fond-do-lac show in Wisconsin. he bought 3 Arsenals from a person who was thinning the herd. There was a streight stock, an underfolder and the RPK. I couldn,t believe my eyes when I saw the RPK. It is unfired so I want to sell or trade it off. I like to shoot my stuff.
