I'd really like to find a tried-and-true, correct machinist's print for the AKM receiver. I got an AutoCAD print (my preferred media) a couple of weeks ago that's signed "Dr. Strangelove", and it appears to be OK, but before I start carving on my receiver bend, I'd like to know if anyone's used it and found it to be spot-on, or if it has faults. If you know of a "perfect" print that you've built from, please let me know.

Thanks,
MacThomas

I haven't seen a "perfect" print, but I can tell you the one from Ace Arms is pretty good. The only problems are the hammer axis holes aren't aligned on each side, and on my AMD-65 build the safetly selector hole was about 1/16" too high (just enough slack so my trigger will release the hammer when the safety is on).
