Yeah, the rest of the nation is cooking everyday, like we were a month or so ago; but this evening, TS Debby came ashore & is dumping massive amounts of rain on already saturated soil & swollen rivers. This is after TS Beryl dropped 6" to several feet of rain over North Florida! The Santa Fe River is about 200' from my front stairs leading to the house which is up on stilts.
God, I love Florida & all the different weather patterns we have to deal with. At least the winds are 25 to 35 mph & slowing down as she goes across the penninsula. May God protect the people who are having to deal with the flooding & sinkholes that are showing up!

Hope your house stays dry. There was talk of Debby coming here when the models were all over the place. I guess the 100+ is better than that, was hoping for a few outer bands to bring rain.
We had Allison back about ten years ago, don't want another of those. It's better than Ike though.

Stay dry up there FLakm. We had the tail end of Debby and couple weak ef0 tornadoes at south FL. Today turns out nice and sunny.

We get rain off of those storms sometimes. My wife's sister sent an e-mail yesterday saying "It don't look like Debby is going to be doing San Marcos."

My roof sprung a leak in the torrential rains while we slept, my ceiling came down in my kitchen, woke up to find a large hun of the ceiling on the floor.

Just FYI they got National Guard on standby.
Cav is up there and can probably handle it, but most of us down here in 2nd Bat. got our WARNO today.

Man that is going to take some cleanup, sorry for your misfortune. The sun should be up soon so I can see where the river is. There are alot of houses with blue tarps on the roofs from this storm around here & the winds were low 25 to 35 mph @ the worse. It was the heavy constant rain for 4 days that did the damage!
