3. Only two vegetables that can live to produce on their own for several growing seasons: Asparagus and rhubarb.

It didn't say "just" canned.

We've got watermelon wine, watermelon freezer pops, watermelon gum, watermelon drinks, watermelon hygiene products . . .

Lettuce wine? Not that I've ever heard of.
Lettuce gum?
Lettuce drinks?
Lettuce shampoo or body wash?
etc. . .

Lettuce seeds are used in some recipes too. Nya! And Tatum O'neall smoked lettuce cigarettes in "Paper Moon"

Never enjoyed any watermelon pickles?

Please cite a recipe using lettuce seeds.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lettuce Not a recipe, but the oil from the seeds is used for cooking. Watermelon pickles are pickled sections of rind, and not the sweet inside. Watermelon gum is artificially flavored. But who cares? This quiz was eye-opening.
