"Someone" (vendor) posts he got GOOD KITS from me,... and some SHIT KITS from me. Hell he did not get ANYTHING from me. I just arranged the deal.

He knows who he got his "product" from, because he mentions him as a "referral"!

Then,...someone recomends his choice of a "dealer",..and that dealer uses MY PICTURE of MY KIT!

You need to see one of the "Tantals or AKMSes" that I have in stock right now. You are so very right about the cutting up brand new rifles. It is sad but very good for us as collectors and shooters!

I have told many of my customers,,..."I have been in this hobby for as long as most here have been ALIVE. Before this it was very RARE to get GOOD parts,..let alone NEW parts!"

These are "THE GOOD OLD DAYS" that we will speak of years from now.

Steve, you are RIGHT about the members of the NEW BOARD being the same guys we see everywhere. I have NO ISSUES with the MEMBERS on that board or ANY OTHER BOARD. Many members like you and even most MODERATORS on all boards are good customers.

I also have no issues with the MEMBERS of the "other" board that, in my opinion and the opinion of many people, had a select MODERATOR and ADMINISTRATOR try to ruin my reputation to protect THEIR FAVORITE SPONSOR/VENDOR.

I owe EVERYTHING to the MEMBERS of all firearm related boards, as they have each and everyone treated me like a prince. Without the MEMBERS everywhere,..I would sell NOTHING.

It is the "NEW" Administration on the "NEW" board that I, along with most people, see similar issues with. Look at the "post" I allude to at the start of this thread. A VENDOR and the CHIEF ADMINISTRATIOR posting in a "question" about my product.

Well,the past few Months have been pretty hectic,My Daughter and two year old Grandson moved back in,heavy work schedule and helping start up the akforum has taken up most of my time and attention.

Perhaps the issue you have missed is the need of a certain poster in that thread, who take's any instance as one within which to attack, in whichever manner possible, a certain other vendor. Be it half bad and half good the message still implies that you cannot be certain of quality. That is called a slight - and when it comes to competing vendor's it is easily construed as a flame due the poster's inability to remain impartial.

Maybe I mis-read the post but my take on it was that the kits recieved were nice but the negative aspect of the post implied some sort of conflict with Bob.

It is that "implication" that I can understand there being a problem with. I do not believe it was the posters place, as a vendor, to slight another vendor with his "implications". I defer to my above post - that it is tantamount to flaming and as such would not be appreciated by the subject of same.

Having said that I myself could do without that posters infantile obsession with the target of his posts, across numerous boards. I believe it to be more in-line with some form of professional "penis envy" as opposed to an issue of relative substance.

As you well know, my position is that the existance of internet experts and opinions are all VERY desireable and down right vital to the "internet" firearms community's existance.

Opinions and wild ass statements are sometimes the driving force that spurs the participation of the board members as a whole. This type of instigation, while sometimes excessive, is the stimulation that makes a board "breathe".

The real SHIT that FOULS the AIR is altogether different in source and nature.

The "stank" I speak of is when someone who has a position on a board of "neutral responsability", such as a moderator or board owner, instigates an attack against an entity and uses the boards like a pawn as he/she executes that attack position. It is always revealed in the long run that the attacker favors one business entity over another and has nothing to do with fairness. We always find the actions were taken for that person's personal gain.

These are ALWAYS the same people who seek to limit the "response" of the attacked victim by banning the person attacked thereby keeping that person foom any fair response.

Sometimes these "attack types" run and form other venues in an effort to hide and blame everyone else in the Universe for their social problems.

Sometimes these "types" will even CHANGE their SCREEN NAMES on the other boards where they continued their attacks or run to those board and delete the posts that they previously made during the attack.

I say to that person,...YOUR POSTS were FROZEN on THIS BOARD before you made the attempt to DELETE THEM after you registered here under your NEW NAME.



Let THEM,...let THEM ALL see WHO and WHAT you really are.

Long time ago I learned that there are three sides to every story, and usually one can only get two of the three at most. In addition, these squabbles are sorta like me sitting down to watch the Super Bowl (which never happens) -- I can't influence the outcome, and it has little or no effect on me, so I choose not to participate and simply put my time to better use.

I only happened to be browsing here and saw your sig line, and decided to twist your tail about being closed both Saturdays each week. About the other stuff that you mention, I have no dog in that fight.

I appreciate the "tail twisting" as you intended it. Good and honest banter is very much a part of what this hobby is all about.

I applaud you comment as GOOD HUMOR! It is as I would have done given the chance.

In all of this internet banter, I honestly feel there are sides to the story that neither party fully understand. If everyone could sit down "face to face" and discuss like MEN what has transpired, I am sure we could all find a HIGHER GROUND.

After you "were terminated" from Ohio Rapid Fire, your account was downgraded because Ohio Rapid Fire was the Industry Partner, not you. But if you remember, you were selling your Akron Armory products on AR15.COM at the same time you were employed by Ohio Rapid Fire, when you should have been selling only their products...There's your "conflict of interest." I guess you call that "Double Bob-be-Que." Now, after your termination, you had quite a few outstanding customer complaints to which you were held accountable. If you think being held "accountable" to customers is harrassment, then maybe you should consider getting out of the business. Customer satisfaction, 100% of the time, is always expected. Anything less is unacceptable.

There you go again referring to me as an "employee" at Ohio Rapid Fire. I've never been on the employee payroll...but after my last trip up there and seeing the massive facility and expansion activities...I must say I have contemplated potential employment. Bob, you can compete with Ohio Rapid Fire...but on AR15.COM, you have to be a "paid" Dealer/Vendor/Industry Partner to do so. this place is starting to feel more and more like "the network" if you get my drift.


I take it that you are referring to the other AK-47 discussion board. Not true. From what I have experienced and witnessed on that board, they keep dealers around and squash any negative posts as long as they pay their advertising fee. It's done a bit differently here. We allow dealers on this board only after they receive approval from the owners. Then they are allowed to conduct business as long as they keep their customers interests first.

For the record:

Akron Armory never had true "Dealer" status on this board. Bob Williams (Akron Armory) was allowed to have his account upgraded when he was working for Ohio Rapid Fire. If you look in the archives and history, you will see that Akron Armory was selling "their" products for a period of time while they were still working for Ohio Rapid Fire. This wasn't really ethical for them to do that considering Rapid Fire was paying AR15.COM to advertise their goods, not Akron Armory's. Anyway, the business relationship between Rapid Fire and Akron Armory was terminated on 8/10/05. For exact reasons, you will need to contact those individuals direct. When the business relationship was terminated, Akron Armory's account was immediately downgraded to "member" and any dealer advertisements were locked and filed. IMs were sent to Akron Armory and they were encouraged to immediately contact board ownership to request Dealer status. They (Akron Armory) were told that once they had their account upgraded, all locked and filed posts would be unlocked and put back on the Equipment Exchange. Akron Armory contacted me via IM and asked for a transition period in order to have their account upgraded, and requested that I reinstate their advertisement for Tantals and PKMS Kits. I obliged and told them to immediately contact board ownership and take care of their dealer account upgrade. A substantial amount of time has passed since then and no upgrade action has been made by Akron Armory. Rumors of discontent with Akron Armory on AKFiles.COM raised a concern and logon records for Akron Armory were reviewed. The last post that Akron Armory made to address customer concerns on AR15.COM showed 9/9/05, with subsequent daily logons each day thereafter (with no posts) until their account was locked on 9/23/05. If you look at other discussion boards, you will see that Akron Armory has been logging on and has been making posts during this same period of time.


Akron Armory has access to great products that our membership enjoyed purchasing. We complimented Akron Armory on this when we requested their continued presence on this board. Akron Armory failed to follow through on upgrading their account. Now we are beginning to see indicators that Akron Armory cannot fill customer's orders because of discord between Akron Armory and Dan's Sporting Goods. I've been told that Dan's Sporting Goods "will not ship any kits until Akron Armory pays for them."

Bottomline: There are customer issues from AR15.COM members that need to be resolved before the owners of this board will even entertain a request for a dealer account from Akron Armory. Jeepcreep has requested any members with outstanding orders contact him via email so those orders can be addressed with Akron Armory.

I don't care to have Bob on this board. I base that on a few things, most importantly his continual campaign of "poking us in the eye" on the AK Files, as well as other discussion boards.

Bob knows exactly why his account was locked at AR15.COM. My question now is, why doesn't he approach the owners of AR15.COM and request/pay for a dealer account? Considering the fact, that the two staff members he thinks "tried to throw him under the bus" are no longer part of the board, why doesn't he pay for an account?

For the record, as staff members on AR15.COM, we enforced the rules of the board set forth by the owners. The rules were business oriented and designed to make a profit for the owners. After reaching a point of not wanting to be part of a "business" and "profit" oriented discussion board, we decided to depart. Plain and simple.

So...I don't like the way Akron Armory conducts business, so I made the decision to not "invite" him to be a vendor on this board. I know that everyone has their favorite vendor...that's perfectly normal. If our members want to conduct business with Akron Armory, they can do so on any discussion board that Akron Armory has an agreement to advertise his products...Plain and simple.

Bob, let me be honest. Overall, I think your recent post to this thread makes you look "needy" to your customer base.
