Nevermind is an album, White Riot is a song. Just sayin'.
Put up "The Gauntlet" by the Dropkicks, or something by Sham 69, or Cock Sparrer, or the Opressed, or the Bruisers, or am I letting to much out here? Ohhhh, the Ducky Boys...

Yup, two sellout bands that made millions. Poolside anarchist, Stinky Turner of the Cockney Rejects called them. Check out Cockney Rejects "Join the Rejects Get Yourself Killed" on youtube. Real working-class rage, not pretend marketing.

Dropkick murphys cover it too, as well as sham 69
I personally wouldn't call rage asellout band.....they very wellcould be.....zach gave it up for the political movement, or the rest pushed himaway to sellout possibly, but it is waht it is.....and its a great song

I saw the "Bad Brains" cover it in the early 80's. The brothers had it down, yo.

Early 80's (I'm 53), in less than 2 weeks I see Bad Brains, The Ramones twice, Minor Threat and the Circle Jerks live. My ears still ring. Weird thing is, Bad Brains were the fastest and loudest. Circle Jerks were off the hook (PCP?) and Minor Threat ripped through their set in about 40 minutes. Always loved the Ramones in the early days. 1-2-3-4! Half the crowd in the club would run for the exit holding their ears. They were there for a beer and socializing and this fighter jet called The Ramones turns on the afterburners. WTF is this shit? the Steve Miller fans would say on their way to their cars. In 1979 (?), I saw the Ramones in Willimantic, CT. Not counting the 7 or 8 people who ran to the exits, maybe 40 people saw one of the greatest concerts ever. Strange, 3 have passed and their in the RnR Hall of Fame. Who knew? I did.

Rage is a POS commie band. Tom Morello is half kenyan / half jew.

MC5 A little young for the jam kickers. Saw Iggy a few times, but never The Stooges. Same guy signed the MC5, Stooges and Ramones. Fields?

Interesting history about that guy - we owe many of our phone protections to him and his court case, IIRC.
Always been really partial to the Cro-mags, though I could do without the Hari-shit.

Yeah, Cro-Mags would rattle your filings. Agnostic Front, Gang Green, Anti-Heroes........................... Yeah, things are so tame these days. Check out Keith Morris OFF! "Darkness" on youtube. Figures it would take a guy pushing 60 to kickstart high-energy punk. Best stuff I've heard in ages. Better than Black Flag or the Circle Jerks.

OFF! is great. I dunno about being better than Flag or the Circle Jerks, but it is good stuff. Similar style, and since Morris sang/sings in all three they are bound to be somewhat alike.
I have been listening to a band called Crusades lately. Dark, melodic punk from Ottawa.

Saw Dirty Rotten Imbeciles a few months back. Still badass.
Rollins was a punk, too.
